How to Clear your Cache on Chromebook

Clearing your cache on your Chromebook is a great way to keep it running smoothly. Below are the instructions to clear your cache in order to free up space.

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen to access the menu.
   
3. Click "History" to open the dropdown menu to open the sub-menu.
   
4. On the sub-menu, click "History" at the top of the sub-menu.
   
5. On the "History" page, click "Clear browsing data" on the left side of the screen.
   
6. In the "Clear browsing data" window, set the "Time range" to "All Time", and make sure to check the checkboxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
   
7. Once those are selected, click the blue "Clear data" button in the lower right corner of the "Clear browsing data" window.
   
8. After clicking "Clear data" no further action is required and you can close the window.
