Vision and Hearing Screening Schedule 25/26 School Year

Regular vision and hearing checks in schools are crucial for children's learning and participation, as undetected issues can impede their reading, listening, and concentration. Early detection enables the provision of necessary support, thereby boosting students' confidence. Springs offers screenings for K, 2nd, 5th, and 8th grades, along with color vision assessments for 2nd grade males.

If your child has an upcoming initial or triannual IEP assessment, please coordinate with your nearest site for screenings. 

If you would like your child to be screened and they do not fall under the categories mentioned above, please complete the Vision and Hearing Permission Slip and submit it to the school on or before the specified screening date. Alternatively, if you do not wish for your students to be screened, please complete the Vision & Hearing Waiver form in English and Spanish and return it as indicated on the form.
